House Person

The purpose of the House Person is to maintain cleanliness of all public areas throughout the hotel and to carry out other housekeeping and delivery functions as requested by guests, front desk associates, and management. Essential Functions - Delivers linen to housekeepers throughout the day as needed - Keeps housekeeper’s trash and linen emptied at all times - Works in a safe manner - Picks up clean glasses; delivers to each floor’s closet - Removes dirty glasses from each cart, linen room, hallway, and vending area - Delivers guest requests within 10 minute time frame - Delivers and sets up cribs as requested - Removes cribs, miscellaneous items from the hallway - Empties vacuum cleaners issued as needed - Cleans landing areas and stairs - Cleans public bathrooms, meeting rooms, back offices - Cleans vending areas and vending machines daily; mops all floors - Vacuums hallways and corridors - Spot cleans windows and corridor wall vinyl - Cleans elevator tracks on outside of elevators; polishes brass plates - Completes all special assignments - Turns in keys at end of shift - Helps put away monthly supply orders - Arrives to work on time for scheduled shift. - Work in a collaborative and professional way with co-workers, management and guests. - Assists with additional work as specified or needed, including assisting in other departments.

Guest Services Associate

Accommodates guests of the hotel(s) by registering and assigning rooms, issuing room keys, transmitting and receiving messages, keeping records of occupied rooms and guests’ accounts, confirming reservations, presenting statements to and collecting payments from departing guests, supplying information on hotel services and area information, and communicating guest requests to relevant departments. Responsible for front-line interactions with guests, initial resolution of guest complaints and responding to guest needs.

The purpose of the Housekeeper/Guestroom Attendant/Suite Attendant is to maintain cleanliness of all guestrooms according to brand specifications and quality standards. Rooms and Inventory - Thoroughly cleans all assigned rooms within prescribed Brand Standard guidelines. - Maintains the inventory of every item placed in guestrooms. - Communicates status of cleaned rooms to Housekeeping Supervisor. - Reports any lost and found items to the Housekeeping Supervisor immediately, listing the room number or area where the item was found. - Reports any damaged or missing items to Maintenance and the Housekeeping Supervisor. - Reports exceptional and/or unusual circumstances, such as no luggage in a stay-over room, sleep-outs, damage in the rooms, etc. to the Housekeeping Supervisor. - Stocks carts and supply rooms. - Assists with washing, drying and folding terry and linen as needed. Experience - No educational requirement.

Food Service Attendant

The purpose of the Food Service Attendant is to service the Residence Inn and SpringHill Suites buffets, maintaining above standard food quality, safety, and an excellent guest experience. Essential Functions - Provides personalized service to all guests. - Regularly greets, communicates and converses with all guests in the hearth room/ gatehouse and buffet areas. - Must be able to smile, and project a warm, welcoming and friendly persona. - Sets up and maintains the breakfast/social hour buffet and meetings in an attractive looking, organized clean and standardized presentation. - Continuously checks food to ascertain that appearance, temperature, and portions are correct. - Assists in preparation of food. - Knows what products are served. - Displays knowledge of all menu items, contents, and preparation methods. Is prepared to answer any guest questions about the menu in a direct, concise way. - Clears and cleans tables as they are vacated. - Wipes up spills. - Removes trash. - Breaks down breakfast buffets and meeting events. Returns reusable food supplies to storage. - Cleans and sanitizes counters, floors, storage areas, utensils, equipment and common areas as specified, including kitchen. - Listens and responds to guest requests or concerns. - Language skills: Has the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules (i.e., Lockout Tagout, JSA’s), safety awareness information (MSDS), operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to keep logs and to speak effectively to customers and associates. - The hotel functions seven days a week, 24 hours a day. All associates must realize this fact and be aware that at times it may be necessary to move an associate from their accustomed shift as business demands. In addition, it is understood that business and weather determines the amount of hours that are worked and that some weeks may be scheduled at less than 40 hours and other weeks at more than 40 hours. - Each associate is expected to carry out all reasonable requests by management which the associate is capable of performing. This includes performing job duties in another department if needed.
